Formed as an extension of the Business Exchange, Gorham Women's Alliance (GWA) meets quarterly, with exciting, dynamic speakers to enrich women's professional and personal lives. Everyone is welcome; you do not need to be a member of The Exchange to attend.
The GWA provides an opportunity for meeting and socializing with other women as well as hear interesting presentations on subjects important to women on our community.

Gabrielle Melchionda of Mad Gab's, Inc. will be our speaker. She will be sharing her story with us on how she turned her hobby into a very successful business from her kitchen in 1991

Future GWA Event ideas include: a panel of women who became successful by following their dreams (whether it be in business, the arts, stay-at-home home-schooling, etc), Fundraiser for a local charity, Networking event with GBEX reaching out to USM/SMCC/other community colleges and trade schools, September social at the Pine Crest, importance of reducing stress on women's health (think: massage, yoga, meditation, etc), the psychology of money and how it relates to women.
