GBCE Events

In addition to monthly meetings, the Gorham Business & Civic Exchange sponsors a number of annual community events. Past events have included the Gorham Marketplace, "Fore a Scholarship" Golf Scramble, Family Barbecue, and Chili and Chowder Cook-Off.

The Gorham Business & Civic Exchange meets monthly from September through June. The meetings rotate between early morning, luncheon and after business hours.

Because we recognize the value of networking, each GBCE meeting begins with an introduction session when each member has 30 seconds to speak about his or her business. After introductions, featured speakers typically give 45-minute presentations followed by questions and answers.

After-hours receptions are strictly social networking events for business owners and employees to meet and exchange business ideas in a casual, unstructured atmosphere.
